Leo the Lion, purchased by the incredible PTFA, has made an entrance to Valentine Primary School.

Aimed at increasing motivation and enjoyment levels, Leo's job is to visit classes, to participate in school life and to be a friend to our pupils.

Leo will be at the main gates on different days, to ensure that attendance is strong on days where we often see dips (Monday and Friday). Parents and children just love taking selfies with him.

Leo is also another character in the St Mary's Partnership maascot group - each school having one for the coveted Sports Day races!
